Day 4 – 27.9.2017

Walked with Sarit Bloom in London.

Here in London I had the pleasure of meeting Sarit Bloom, a dedicate member of WWP and wonderful woman. We peace walked along the Thames and talked - in Hebrew - and listened to each-other and to all the other voices and noises: of people, cars, small waves, large ambitions and the endless horizon of hopes. We paused and looked at the river. Sarit said that the sand looked whiter than usual. A young man was perfecting his parkour skills. It made me think of a wonderful book that my friend of many years Christine Donovan had written. Thank you Sarit for meeting and walking with me today. Good luck to Women Wage Peace as we are promoting and demanding a political agreement. 
27.9.2017 - יום רביעי של מסע השלום של 'נשים עושות שלום'. כאן בלונדון היה לי העונג
לפגוש את שרית בלום, פעילה מסורה של נע"ש ואשה נפלאה. ביצענו הליכת שלום 
לאורך נהר התמזה ושוחחנו - בעיברית - הקשבנו זו לזו לקולות ולרעשים שמסביב: אנשים, מכוניות, גלים קטנים, אמביציות גדולות, אופק התקוות
האינסופי
עצרנו והתבוננו בנהר. שרית אמרה שהחול נראה לבן מתמיד. איש צעיר שיכלל את כישורי הפרקור שלו. נזכרתי בספר מצויין שידידתי כריסטין דונובן כתבה לפני כמה שנים דרכו התוודעתי 
לצורת תרבות זו (משהו בין ספורט לתנועה). תודה שרית על הפגישה, השיחות וההליכה 
בהצלחה ל'נשים עושות שלום' בדרישה להשגת הסכם מדיני
